Inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's short story "The Pit and the Pendulum". Part of a "Line and Colour" project during the first year of my Illustration degree.

Brush and Indian inkCats
Another first year project, for the "Research Methodology" unit. We had to choose an animal. I love cats.. a lot. So i thought I might as well choose an animal that I adore.
One of my successful experiments were little fragile origami cats that i made out of very thing, somewhat crinkly paper. I tried to capture their fragility by photographing the with lighting specifically used to create shadows.
